Chinatowns dim sum game just leveled up. According to reports, dumpling carts are now pushed by robots. They beep in Mandarin, bow politely, and occasionally short-circuit near soy sauce spills.
“Its efficient, but I miss yelling at my waiter,” sighed one longtime diner. Robots roll out shrimp dumplings with mechanical precision, though some mistakenly serve batteries instead of buns.
TikToks #RoboDimSum trend shows influencers dancing with sesame ball bots. Locals are amused until the robots unionize and demand WiFi breaks.
Tabloids steamed. “DROID WITH SOY” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “AI FORTUNE COOKIE.”
Mayor Adams praised it as “culinary progress.” Governor Hochul said she prefers soup dumplings served by humans, but admitted the robots dont judge chopstick skills.
