Brooklyn Bridge Adds Bike Lane DJ Booth

Pedal to the beat

According to reports, cyclists on the Brooklyn Bridge now ride to live DJ sets blasting house music across the East River. Bike commutes have turned into raves with glow sticks, strobe lights, and occasional crashes into tourists.

One banker shouted, “This is the best morning ride ever!” while nearly colliding with a selfie stick. DJs have been spotted spinning vinyl strapped to Citi Bikes.

TikTok’s #SpinAndSpin trend shows commuters dancing while pedaling, often ending with paramedics sighing. A viral clip showed a courier doing wheelies to Daft Punk before skidding into a hot dog cart.

Tabloids blasted. “HOUSE ON THE BRIDGE” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “PEDAL, PARTY, PANIC.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “bridge culture.” Governor Hochul muttered, “Why does everything have to be a party?”
