Wall Street Bankers Replace Suits With Pajamas

Power naps as portfolios

According to reports, Wall Street’s dress code has taken a wild turn: business suits are out, pajamas are in. CEOs now strut into Goldman Sachs wearing flannel onesies, while hedge fund managers argue over whether silk robes count as “business casual.” One banker was spotted on CNBC wearing SpongeBob slippers while announcing a $3 billion merger.

The move began as a cost-saving effort, but quickly morphed into a full fashion revolution. “Pajamas are more honest than suits,” said one trader. “Why pretend I’m in control of the market when I can wear fleece with ducks on it?”

Critics argue that the pajama dress code undermines Wall Street’s image. “If I see my broker in footie pajamas, I’m moving my money,” said one investor. But others argue the honesty is refreshing. “The Dow looks less scary when explained by a guy in plaid pants,” admitted another.

TikTok’s #WallStreetPJs trend shows bankers napping on trading floors while alarms blare. A viral video captured a Morgan Stanley exec sleep-talking about insider trading while clutching a teddy bear.

Tabloids tucked it in. “DOW IN FLANNEL” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “SNORE STREET.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “comfort capitalism.” Governor Hochul muttered, “If my 401k tanks because of pajamas, I’m banning fleece.”
