NYC Hot Dog Vendors Demand Michelin Stars

According to reports, hot dog vendors across New York City are demanding recognition from the Michelin Guide, arguing that $3 street dogs are more iconic than any overpriced tasting menu in Midtown. Their manifesto includes ketchup-splattered petitions and mustard-stained press releases.

One vendor said, “If escargot can get stars, why not sauerkraut?” Another noted that tourists are already paying fine-dining prices for bottled water.

TikTok’s #StarDogs trend shows foodies reviewing carts with wine-pairing language. One viral clip captured a vendor flambéing onions like a Michelin chef.

Tabloids grilled. “FRANK FIGHT” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “DOGS DESERVE STARS.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “culinary justice.” Governor Hochul muttered, “I just want a pretzel.”
