Brooklyn Hipsters Start Candlelit Subway Yoga

Namaste on the tracks

According to reports, Brooklyn hipsters have launched candlelit yoga sessions inside unused subway cars. Participants claim the F train’s “industrial energy” deepens their mindfulness, while rats nibble at their granola bars.

One instructor guided a downward dog as the train screeched, calling it “the sound of inner transformation.” Another student burned sage, which set off the smoke detector and a full MTA evacuation.

TikTok’s #SubwayYoga trend features influencers balancing headstands as the train lurches. A viral mishap showed one yogi tumbling into an accordion player mid-stretch.

Tabloids stretched. “BEND IT LIKE BROOKLYN” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “ZEN AND THE ART OF DELAYS.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “healthy transit.” Governor Hochul muttered, “I need a stiff drink.”
