Brooklyn Bagel Union Strike

Hole truth

According to reports, Brooklyn bagel makers have gone on strike, demanding better schmear benefits and time off for boiling. The strike left residents horrified, with lines outside bodegas stretching longer than the G train delay.

One union leader said, “We knead respect.” Locals panicked, hoarding everything from sesame to rainbow bagels. Black-market bagels are now trading for $15 each in Williamsburg.

TikTok’s #BagelStrike shows influencers crying while eating untoasted English muffins. A viral clip showed a man attempting to hollow out a baguette to make a “bagu-l,” only to be shunned by his neighborhood.

Tabloids toasted. “DOUGH PROTEST” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “ROLL REVOLT.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “bread empowerment.” Governor Hochul muttered, “At least I still have Dunkin’.”
