Central Park Squirrel Mafia Exposed

Fuzzy extortion

According to reports, an underground squirrel mafia has been exposed in Central Park, accused of shaking down picnickers for crumbs. Witnesses say gangs of bushy-tailed rodents surround blankets and demand payment in trail mix.

One tourist said, “They stole my bagel and stared me down while eating it.” Locals claim the squirrels are organized, with a “nut boss” controlling acorn distribution from a hollow oak.

TikTok’s #SquirrelMafia trend shows chipmunks acting as lookouts. A viral video showed a raccoon auditioning to join the gang, only to be rejected for “lack of tail fluff.”

Tabloids squeaked. “FUR CRIME” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “NUT JOBS.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “natural order.” Governor Hochul muttered, “At least pigeons just poop.”
