Yankees Replace Hot Dogs with Kale

Stadium fans revolt

Baseball may never be the same. According to reports, Yankee Stadium has replaced traditional hot dogs with kale wraps in an effort to “modernize concessions.” Fans, however, are revolting harder than a 7th inning bathroom line.

“I didn’t pay $120 for bleacher seats to chew lettuce,” screamed one Bronx fan hurling a kale wrap onto the field. Vendors now shout “Get your kale!” but are met with boos and requests for bail money instead. Beer sales have doubled as fans attempt to wash down the bitter leaves.

Team executives claim the move aligns with “health-conscious trends.” They’ve also unveiled gluten-free crackerjacks and oat-milk nacho cheese. Season ticket holders are unimpressed. “Babe Ruth is rolling in his grave,” muttered a fan waving a mustard packet like a protest sign.

Tabloids pitched their takes. “LEAF IT OUT” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “GREEN MONSTROSITY.” Social media exploded with #KaleGate, with TikTokers dramatically spitting out kale in slow motion while wearing pinstripes.

Mayor Adams supported the change, citing his vegan lifestyle, while Governor Hochul admitted she “sneaks in a hot dog from 7-Eleven anyway.” Stadium officials now face threats of boycotts unless frankfurters return by playoff season.

For now, fans remain hungry—and angry. As one Bronx regular declared: “No hot dogs, no home runs.”
