Upper East Side Dogs Wear Designer Shoes

Paws in Prada

According to reports, pampered pups on the Upper East Side are padding down Madison Avenue in Prada booties and Gucci loafers. Owners say the shoes protect from “uncouth sidewalk grime,” while the dogs just look embarrassed.

One Yorkie strutted in Louboutins worth more than a studio apartment deposit. Another bulldog was spotted clomping in Balenciaga platforms, nearly toppling into a bagel cart.

TikTok’s #PawshTrend shows influencers trying to match outfits with their dogs. One viral fail: a dachshund lost a Jimmy Choo in Central Park, sparking a frantic search party.

Tabloids barked. “PAW-DIGIOUS PRICES” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “DOGS IN DRIPS.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “pet equity.” Governor Hochul muttered, “I can’t afford shoes that nice.”
