He has checked the Yelp reviews on six separate occasions, each time noting that the reviews are good and that he should go. He has not gone. Barry’s explanations for why he has not gone: (1) he usually goes to the same two places on restaurant nights and changing the routine requires specific energy he has not had available; (2) his wife has a gluten sensitivity and he is uncertain whether the Mexican place has gluten-free options, though he has not checked; (3) the first time he thought about going, he couldn’t find parking, and this initial friction established the restaurant in his mind as “inconvenient” despite subsequent visits to the area producing no parking difficulty; and (4) “I’m definitely going this weekend,” which has been said on seventeen recorded occasions without producing the visit.
