Chinatown Dumpling ATM Unveiled

Steamed on demand

According to reports, Chinatown has debuted the world’s first dumpling ATM, allowing hungry New Yorkers to withdraw hot shumai 24/7. Each ATM dispenses pork, veggie, or “mystery filling,” sparking debates on whether the machine is a culinary breakthrough or a health code violation.

One customer said, “The machine ate my $5, but I still got soup dumplings—so it’s fair.” Tech bros are already calling it “Uber Eats, but metal.”

TikTok’s #DumplingATM trend shows influencers slapping soy sauce packets onto the keypad. A viral video caught a rat waiting patiently in line for its turn.

Tabloids steamed. “CASH OR CABBAGE” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “ATM = ALL THE MUNCHIES.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “gastronomic innovation.” Governor Hochul muttered, “I’ll stick to chopsticks, thanks.”
