Hot Dog Vendors Accept Crypto

Bitcoin with mustard

According to reports, NYC hot dog vendors are now accepting cryptocurrency, leading to chaos as tourists fumble QR codes while holding dripping sauerkraut buns. One vendor proudly said: “Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin—I’ll take it all. Just don’t ask for change in NFTs.”

Customers are frustrated when prices fluctuate mid-bite. “It was $4 when I ordered, now it’s $11.50,” complained a guy still chewing. Vendors have also started offering “blockchain buns” and “Ethereum onions” for premium charges. Wall Street bros cheer the move, calling it “the true future of street meat.”

TikTok’s #CryptoDog trend sizzled: influencers pretending to mine hot dogs, pranksters buying pretzels with Monopoly money, and a viral clip of a vendor yelling, “Your wallet crashed? So did my buns!”

Tabloids grilled. The Post barked: “CRYPTO WIENER WARS.” The Daily News countered: “DOGE EATS DOGE.”

Mayor Adams, an actual crypto fan, said: “This is the economy of the frank.” Governor Hochul muttered: “If Albany tries this, I’m banning relish coins.”
