Brooklyn Bridge Installs Espresso Machines

Caffeinated commutes

According to reports, the Brooklyn Bridge has installed espresso machines along its walkway, catering to commuters who insist on triple-shot macchiatos before facing Manhattan. Each machine charges $9 a cup, or $12 with oat milk.

Officials say the move is meant to modernize the landmark, but tourists complain that pigeons keep stealing the sugar packets. Meanwhile, influencers are treating it as a must-stop “coffee runway.”

TikTok’s #BridgeBrew trend features people chugging espresso before sprinting across the bridge. One viral clip showed a man doing the worm halfway across after four cappuccinos.

Tabloids perked up. “LATTE LANDMARK” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “CAFFEINE CROSSING.”

Mayor Adams praised it as “innovation in motion.” Governor Hochul muttered, “I just want a normal cup of coffee.”
