One influencer bought three just to staple her oat milk receipts. Another framed hers as “functional art.” Locals say its peak gentrification when even your desk supplies cost more than rent.
TikToks #LuxuryClip trend shows fashionistas flexing them as earrings. One viral mishap: a woman used hers to clip subway tickets, only to drop it through the grate.
Tabloids clipped. “RICHLY CLIPPED” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “STAPLED TO STUPIDITY.”
Mayor Adams praised it as “innovation in office aesthetics.” Governor Hochul muttered, “Im using a bread twist tie.”
