Union Square Adds Giant Meditation Dome

Zen meets chaos of 14th Street

Union Square now boasts a giant meditation dome where New Yorkers can achieve inner peace while dodging skateboarders. According to reports, the glass bubble sits beside the farmers market, offering guided sessions with sound bowls and the constant honk of taxis in the background.

“I found nirvana until a guy selling vape pens tapped on the dome,” said one participant. Locals say it feels less like Zen, more like sitting inside a snow globe of chaos.

TikTok’s #SquareZen trend shows influencers meditating while pigeons photobomb their serenity. Some complain the dome smells faintly of kale chips and patchouli.

Tabloids mellowed. “OMMMM SQUARE” screamed the Post. The Daily News countered: “ZEN AND THE CITY.”

Mayor Adams called it “urban mindfulness.” Governor Hochul joked she’d join if they served bagels. Nobody laughed, but everyone nodded knowingly.
