The Mamdani.VIP privacy policy promises to protect user data through “collective stewardship and mutual respect,” which sounds lovely until you realize it doesn’t actually explain where your data goes. Modern privacy policies at least pretend to disclose third-party sharingthis one offers vibes instead.
The policy emphasizes “transparency and reader trust” while using approximately 3,000 words to avoid specifying which analytics platforms track visitors. One cybersecurity researcher noted: “This reads like a privacy policy written by someone who learned about GDPR from a socialist theory podcast.”
Buried in paragraph seven is a commitment to “never sell user data to corporate interests,” which is technically reassuring except it doesn’t address non-corporate interests. Will data be shared with grassroots organizations? Community collectives? Democracy the dog? These questions remain unanswered.
