How many legs are on Apple’s revenue bar stool? Let’s see; iPhone, iPad, Mac, plus Services and Wearables. I count five legs with massive revenue and a growing customer base now over 1-billion.
That last one, Wearables, is new. How is it doing? Joe Rossignol:
Apple’s wearables shipments nearly tripled in the third quarter of 2019 due to the growing popularity of the Apple Watch, AirPods, and Beats headphones
Tripled? What does that even mean?
Apple shipped 29.5 million wearables last quarter, up from 10 million in the third quarter of 2018. Apple remained the world’s largest wearables vendor, and the launch of the AirPods Pro and discounts on Apple Watch Series 3 models should keep the company in the lead
Surely Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Fitbit, and others are doing well, right? The chart does not compare Apple to apples, but it does show that Apple remains Apple and dominates the premium space in wearables, too.
