Apple TV+ will be free for everyone who purchases a new iPhone, iPad, or Mac. For how long? Bryan Chaffin examined the issue:
Apple CEO Tim Cook implied on Wednesday that the company’s bundle promo of one free year of Apple TV+ with the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac is temporary.
Temporary? OK. How temporary?
After all, Apple will sell nearly 200-million new iPhones, iPads, and Macs over the next year, and many of those will continue the $4.99 annual subscription.
Mr. Cook strongly implied it was a time-limited offer to get people in the door.
I’m in the door.
